Ribiero is now running the state for McCain. He comes from the agency (Jamestown Associates) that's doing the robo-calls and media for Freedom's Watch. Jamestown's known for their robo-call work, among many other things.

Jamestown has a history of coordinating their soft-money activities with the GOP...in violation of 527 requirements. (See my diary from last night for much more on this.) But, wait, Freedom's Watch isn't a 527, they're a 501(c)3!

Jamestown/Freedom's Watch can go as negative as they like; and the McCain campaign will disavow every iota of it. Meanwhile, the guy running the operation in Michigan is a former Jamestown employee.

Alarmist? I don't think so. Waaaaay too many coincidences here.
