Ohio was really horrible in 2000 and 2004 as it was run by republicans.  I was in college for both and remember being surprised by how few voting booths we were given.  This was especially true at Kenyon college.  The whole college was given 3 booths.  In that case it backfired because the very active student body came out in strength to stand in line to make a point.  It made several news cycles.  

I am hoping that the democratic state government this year will be even-handed.
